Cooking demonstration success

More than 30 people attended a cooking demonstration by the renowned local chef John Crouch.
He hoped that his demonstration would be able to inspire some ideas for Christmas. As well as the demonstration he gave a mini masterclass in the history and origin of some foods and a mini Christmas quiz; testing knowledge of the three wise men and Santa's Reindeer.
The recipes he showed were quick and simple and some could even double as decorations!
Those who attended were treated to a sample of each dish and the feedback was that they were all very tasty indeed.
The evening finished with raffle and tea and coffee and a catch up. All proceeds were in aid of Hall funds. With thanks to the Hall Committee for arranging the event.
